About Our School
Our school recognises the vital role parents and carers play in each student’s learning and the importance of promoting student voice to enable students to have ownership over their learning. We foster open communication with students, families and the broader school community to help us provide an optimal learning environment in which all students can thrive.
Our staff includes teachers, Allied Health professionals and education support officers who work collaboratively to create excellent learning environments and personalised learning plans for each student.
The Allied Health team consists of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, a Physiotherapist and a Social Worker.
Our comprehensive curriculum is based on the Victorian curriculum and we have a Transition to School program for the preps and a Pathways Program for senior students transitioning to post school options.
Specialist classes include;
- Physical Education
- Music
- Art
- STEAM
- Food Technology
- Kitchen Garden program
Officer Specialist School is committed to the Child Safe Standards and protecting the rights and safety of all the students in the school. Please read further regarding the Child Safety Standards under the Information tab.
